ABOUT HOSHINOEN

Hoshinoen is one of the most famous matcha factories in Japan. It is a relatively new factory that began producing matcha in earnest in 1989. It produces in Yame, Fukuoka Prefecture, which is famous for its sweet tea called gyokuro.     I am quite particular about the taste of my matcha lattes and I don't think it gets better than with this. I typically enjoy this in a latte with a bit of condensed milk mixed in with regular milk and I appreciate that the matcha flavor isn't lost in all the milk. This matcha is rich, bold, and perfect for lattes- I would highly recommend
